You might have heard the term “Color palettes” while working with colors.
But what is a color palette?

It is a collection of colors that helps you to stay on brand.
In this video, we’ll see how to set up your first color palette.
Tag along till the end, and I’ll show you how to use the color palette in your design.
Brand Kit
From the homepage, click on Brand Kit in the sidebar.
Under brand colors, you will notice a plus icon.
To get started add your first color.
You can either choose a color from the spectrum above or add the color hex code.
Once the first color is added, you will notice a plus icon appears next to the color.
You can add up to 5 colors in a palette.
That’s not the end.
Multiple Color Palettes
Picmaker offers you to have multiple color palettes.
A max of 3 color palettes can be added to a workspace.
Let’s dive into the use of color palettes in action.
Color Palettes in Action
I’m going to choose an Instagram post template and customize it using our color palettes.
Select an object and to change color click on the square box at the top.
The sidebar opens up loaded with our predefined color palettes.
Isn’t it handy?
Choose the color palette you wanna add to the post.
You just need to click on the colors.
It’s that easy.
